Over 40 years experience creating custom props, models, patterns, prototypes, for film, architectural, ceramic and industrial use.

You may not have heard of me, but you've most likely seen my work. For over 40 years I've been solving problems while creatively and efficiently producing unequaled, high-quality innovative props, patterns, prototypes, and"hero products" for major film studios, prop specialty shops, ad agencies, photographers, manufactures, hotels and museums

Years of accumulating and acquiring has filled my studio with a plethora of metal working machines and fabrication equipment along with a full complement of woodworking tools and supplies, all instrumental in the creation of unequaled-quality custom products, props, and prototypes- just a few of which are pictured on this site

With a wide-ranging and artistic background and a wealth of resources, I can effectively assist you in determining the most applicable and cost effective methods and materials for your special project. Plaster, wood, ceramic, metal, rubber, fiberglass, acrylics and urethanes are some of the materials that I worked with am well versed in.

I am also up-to-date on advanced rapid protytyping equipment including the use of additive and subtractive machines and RP technology that print parts in plastic, starch, acrylic, metal and epoxy.

Although currently retired, I remain open to personal one-on-one instruction or consultation. If you have a current or future job to discuss, please feel free to contact me at mplesh@propmakers.com
